Notes from a Depression Girl

Growing up on a farm during the Great Depression was hard.  Everybody had their share of  work to do each day, even young children.  Frugality was the watchword of the day when one had little or no money.  Enjoy a look back through the eyes of the author as she recounts what life was like for her family on a northwest Iowa farm during the twenties and thirties.
